YOUTH PROGRAMS

Our K-8 wrestling program offers training for all levels, from beginner to advanced, helping young athletes build skills, confidence, and a love for the sport.

GET STARTED!

1. DEVELOPMENT

All new wrestlers start here!

For new wrestlers in grades K-8th who are looking to learn the fundamentals of the sport. Wrestlers will learn the basics of the neutral position, most common takedowns, top and bottom referee’s position, and the general rules of the sport. The main goal here is for the wrestlers to have fun while developing the skills needed to build a basic foundation of wrestling. This is a required prerequisite to advance to the next level.

2. INTERMEDIATE

Next level for grades K-8!

For wrestlers in grades K-2nd & 3rd-8th who have successfully completed the Development class, have a good understanding of the techniques taught, and are looking to gain a more in depth understanding of the fundamentals of the sport. Wrestlers will focus on positional techniques and will start to learn details of the most common takedowns, top and bottom referees position, and will further their knowledge of the rules of the sport.

3. ADVANCED

You made it to advanced!

For advanced wrestlers in grades 3rd-8th who want to eliminate their weaknesses and sharpen their skills. Wrestlers will learn advanced offensive and defensive fundamentals necessary to compete at a higher level. Technical adjustments will be made to enhance their knowledge in positions and they will learn how to best chain advanced techniques together to be able to score.

REIGN TRABUCO

TRABUCO SPRING SESSION

12 Weeks

DATES: March 3-May 23, 2025

LOCATION: Trabuco Hills HS (27501 Mustang Run, Mission Viejo, CA 92691)

DAYS AND TIMES: 

  • Level 1 - Mon/Wed 5:30-6:30pm 
  • Level 2 - Mon/Wed 5:30-7:00pm 
  • Level 3 - Mon/Wed/Fri 5:30-7:30pm (Laguna) + Tue/Thu 5:30-7:30pm (Trabuco)

3 MONTH SESSION COST: 

  • Level 1 - $375* total or $125 per month for 3 months
  • Level 2 - $450* total or $150 per month for 3 months
  • Level 3 - $600* total or $200 per month for 3 months

*Please note there is a one time $50 enrollment fee for all new members (includes 2 shirts)
